Welcome!
Borderland Fabrics was established in December 2007. It was created by the desire to fulfil a need to provide a service to the many people engaged in the craft of
quilt making in the Scottish Borders.
Our aim is to create a centre of excellence for anybody interested in learning and
practising the art of patchwork and quilting in a friendly and fun-filled environment.
Based in extensive and easily accessible premises on the edge of the Borders town of Jedburgh
we have created a workshop area for twenty students together with a large showroom with a vast array of
fabrics and accessories for sale. There is also a coffee shop / tea room to provide
refreshments for visitors and students.
Courses from beginners to advanced are offered under the expert guidance of our vastly experienced teacher, Cathy Crozier.
We also run courses led by specialist guest teachers from time to time. Please check the Workshops page for up-to-date information.
We hope that Borderland Fabrics will attract both local Borderers and those from further afield who not only wish
to enhance their quilting skills but also to experience the pleasure of exploring this wonderful part of the country.
Thank you for looking at our site!
